4 Keys To Fulfilling Your Destiny

4 Keys To Fulfilling Your Destiny

Keys to fulfilling your destiny. It is an error to remain ignorant and uninformed in an environment where information is available.

It is also a very big mistake in life to avoid learning when you have the materials. The very day you stop learning, is the day you begin to lose your values.

Studying is the key to one’s manifestation because it gives you the ability to discover new things and new ideas.

Through learning, you will know when things have changed from its origin. Learning also gives us the ability to understand the time and the season of all things.

As Christians, the word of God should be a guide, that we all must follow. It is our manual that guides our thoughts, feelings, and actions.

The word of God has the ability to renew, reset, and restore our minds to its normal position. When we hold on to this reliable and unchanging word of God.

And allow it to renew our minds as we read and meditate on it, then we can prevail in this dangerous and changing world.

So, let the word of God implant in you a new mindset that will lead you into, fulfilling your destiny.

And that will get you ready for the master’s use. Because, from the creation of the world, God has been using man as an instrument of change and fulfillment.

Anytime God wants to make history, He uses man. Anytime He wants to make a global change, He changes the people’s mindsets and makes use of them.

God is very much interested in you fulfilling your destiny. His wish is that you may prosper in all things and be in good health, just as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2.

THE KEYS TO FULFILLING YOUR DESTINY

1. The name you bear

Names play vital roles in one’s destiny. In Genesis 12:1, God called Abram and told him to go out from his country, and from his kindred, and from his father’s house to a land that He will show him.

The history of a great nation called Israel began with a man called Abram and not Abraham. God met Abraham as Abram which means exalted father.

The name Abram was limited to God’s global mission for him. Because God wanted Abram to be not just a father but the father of many nations.

God changed his name from Abram (exalted father) to Abraham (father of many nations) just to feet in for his assignment.

To God, a title you bear doesn’t matter to Him. What matters to Him is your name, because your name must carry the assignment that you are created for.

God said to Jeremiah in Jeremiah 1:5. I knew you even before I formed you in the womb; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.

The name that God Himself gave us before birth is so vital to our fulfilling our destiny. The purpose of creation is more important than just its existence. God made you for something.

He called you for a global mandate, your mission is beyond where you are now. You are for the nations and they are waiting for your arrival, so strive to fulfill that destiny.

Fulfilling Your Destiny

Everyone on earth is created to fulfill a destiny. So, you are here for a cause and that cause is attached to the name God called you. That cause is your real assignment in life.

TAKE FOR INSTANCE:

Matthew 1:21, Recorded that before Jesus was born the angel of the Lord told Marry that she shall bring forth a son, and His name shall be called Jesus.

Because He shall save his people from their sins. He called Him Jesus which means savior. From the statement above, it will be revealing that;

  1. Everything born of a woman has a name.
  2. Everything that has a name has a meaning.
  3. And everything that has meaning has an assignment to fulfill.

Jesus was born:
And she shall bring forth a son.

He was called Jesus:
And you shall call his name Jesus

He was given a destiny to fulfill:
For he shall save his people from their sins.

So, the reason while Jesus was born was just to save his people from the power of sin.

Also in the book of Luke 1:13, The angel said to Zechariah fear not; for your prayer is heard: your wife Elisabeth shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.

Now, why was John born?

  1. To bring Joy to his generation
  2. To be a great instrument in the hands of God
  3. He is to lead a city invasion crusade that will turn many to Christ.
  4. He will prepare the way for the arrival of Christ.

2. Discover your purpose of calling

What God called you, contains the full details of your cause in life. The greatest thing that happened to you was the day you were born.

Another greater achievement in your life was the day you discover your assignment in life. Great achievers are those who fulfilled their assignment in life.

The first thing you must do is to, discover your assignment and the second is to work it out. And you can not accomplish that by mere talking.

3. Your readiness to fight for your destiny

Matthew 11:12, Jesus made it clear, that since the time of John the Baptist till now, the kingdom of God has advanced forcefully. And only the people who are able to force their way through can make it.

This is to show that the road to the Kingdom of God is full of oppositions and obstacles, so does fulfilling destinies. Only a man who can break through these barriers will make heaven.

Life is full of battles and in Christianity, we fight more dangerous wars. We are at war with the flesh, the world, principalities, powers, and destiny killers.

Most times it is not a battle that is waged with weapons of physical violence but spiritual. Our enemies are real and we can not afford to bow to them.

The process of fulfilling your destiny demands a fight! When Jabez’s world turned upside down. And his painful situation becomes so unbearable for him.

He took his destiny into his hands interceded for himself, and called on the God of Israel 1 Chronicle 4:10. He prayed, he pleaded and cried unto God for divine intervention.

And God heard his cry and intervened on his behalf, and every negative story about Jabez was automatically changed.

So, arise, take your destiny into your hands, and fight for your liberation. For, no one can help you better than yourself.

Arise and fight! “The kingdom of God suffereth violence” and only the strong take it by force. Take your destiny into your hand in dedication and perseverance

The fulfillment of God’s purpose for our lives is the fulfillment of our destiny. Any life lived according to God’s purpose is a destiny fulfilled.

4. Pursue the purpose with all diligence

The Lord God has chosen us and called us with a purpose. One of the basic keys to fulfilling your destiny and God’s purpose in your life is to pursue it with all diligence.

We must press on to find out the plan of God for our lives and then pursue that plan with our whole heart and might.

Apostle Paul in his time applied all his energies to fulfill the plan of God for his life. When he discovered the area of his calling on his way to Damascus.

He asked the Lord Jesus two important questions as he met Jesus on his way to Damascus. The first question he asked was “Who are you, Lord? “The second question was “Lord, what do you want me to do?”

These are the two vital questions that every one of us must ask in our lives in order to fulfill our destiny.

The purpose of God for our lives is for us to have success. His purpose is to transform our lives so that we will bear fruit in our lives.

As you pursue the purpose of God in your life. You should not allow any other influence to divert you from your purpose of fulfilling your destiny.

We should be willing to pay any price that is attached to God’s purpose in our life and destiny. Most times it may even cause us to displease our family and loved ones in order to obey God.

Our Lord Jesus during His life on earth was focused on finishing the task that brought Him on earth. He did not allow the troubles and persecutions of this life to stop Him halfway.

Jesus was able to complete His mission on earth before He died on the cross of Calvary. He endured till the end and was able to say “It is finished”.

When we actualize the purpose of God in our lives and were able to fulfill our destiny. Then we would be able to joyfully say as Apostle Paul said.

That we have finished our course and that now a crown of righteousness is waiting for us. We need such dedication and commitment in order to fulfill the destiny that the Lord has planned for our lives.

As you decide to take your destiny into your hands today and fight for your liberation. May every opposition, barrier, and near success syndrome in your life be destroyed. Amen.
