It has been Satan’s way to use sin to rob man of God’s glory, he is a specialist in doing that from the days of Adam and Eve till today.
And whenever the glory of God is out of a man’s life. His or her life becomes miserable and shattered. And can easily be influenced, harm or be taken over by demonic attacks.
The glory of God is like an umbrella in the life of every believer, covering and protecting him or her from every attack and manipulations of the enemy.
God’s glory covers everyone who carries it. For it was the glory of God upon Daniel that shut the mouth of lions that would have devoured him in their den.
It was also the glory of God on the young Hebrew boy’s lives that made them look fairer and fatter than their fellow servants.
Meshach, Shadrach, and Abednego were also delivered from the hand of King Nebuchadnezzar and his furry furnace.
And made him the king pronounce them as the servants of the most-high God, because of the glory they possess.
As it is written in the book of Daniel 3:26 Nebuchadnezzar then approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most-High God, come out! Come here!
The glory of God left Adam immediately he carelessly disobeyed God’s instruction and command and he was sent out of the Garden of Eden.
He became a wanderer, and a destitute of the peace that he once had and enjoyed with his Maker, making him lose his formal position.
After many dispensations, God in His infinite mercy decided to restore His glory back to the man, by revealing part of Himself to some people who sincerely seek to know Him.
People like Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, and many other prophets to mention just a few.
These prophets did not only benefit from God’s self-revelation; they also helped their generations by pointing them to the only true God.
Which is the Almighty God, the creator of the whole universe. And when the fullness of time came. God in His supremacy became man and dwelled among men in the person of Jesus Christ.
In order to restore man back to Himself. When one of the disciples asked Him to reveal God the Father to them, Jesus said.
Have I been so long time with you and yet hast thou not know me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father.
And how are you asking me to show you the Father? Did you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in me?… John 14:9-10.
Jesus Christ is the perfect revelation of God, the father. Who came to reveal the Father to us so that we may know how best to worship Him.
In His teachings, Jesus made us know that God is a Spirit. And whosoever that wants to worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.
He told us that unless we are born-again, we cannot see the Kingdom of God. Making Religious activities an exercise in futility. Without this experience, not until He JESUS, came to the world.
Even the Doctors and keepers of the Jewish religious laws were ignorant of these principles of God’s Kingdom.
The glory of God brings us in contact with the divine knowledge, wisdom, and power of God.
It also provides us with the direction to follow. That an ordinary man may become extraordinary. Being equipped to do exploit of supernatural dimensions.
